    1. Hi Tomas, try this other method. Go to System Settings, and scroll down to Users & Accounts. After you click Users & Accounts, scroll down and click Google. The next page should show your Gmail account and the last date when it was Synchronized. When you click on your Gmail account, you would be presented with about 13 different Sync Settings. It starts from Calendar to Chrome, then Contacts, Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc… I think they are listed in alphabetical order. Anyway, make sure all those settings are turned on. Let me know if this solved your problem.

  1. Hi, Tomas Thanks for visiting my blog. Open your Gmail app, click the three bars at the top right left, then click on settings. Select general settings, scroll down and click on “all notifications”. Make sure it is set to “All”. Go out one step scrol down a little more and you will see “Manage notifications”. In there, turn on all the options. The options there include the following; “Allow notifications”, “Display in status bar”, “Banners”, “Lock Screen Notifications”, “Allow interuptions” etc. You can turn on all these settings according to your personal preferences. Try it out and let me know if it works. See ya!!

  2. On my Huawei P20, all the 3 battery save options are turned off, but I still cannot activate auto-sync for my google account (it remains grayed out). Any other fixes up your sleeve?
