Should you buy iPhones with FaceTime? Or can you enable FaceTime on your FaceTime-less UAE iPhone?
Apple UAE doesn't provide iPhones with FaceTime because of the restrictions imposed on them by the TRA (Telecom Regulatory Authority). Therefore all iPhone authorized resellers can only sell the non-FaceTime UAE (or Dubai) iPhones. That has resulted in a flourishing business by third-party sellers, who import FaceTime-enabled iPhones from other countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, Japan, China, and so on. It's actually possible to get authentic phones from these sellers even though sometimes there may be unwelcomed consequences. So the safest way to get an iPhone is to buy it directly from the Authorized resellers. However, you must accept the fact that you may never get FaceTime on that phone. That was only valid until Apple released the iOS version 3.6 update. Apple may have realized that it wasn't fair to completely block FaceTime in its UAE phones because most ex-pats were buying them to take back to their home countries. As of iOS 3.6, you can now enable Facetime on your Facetime-less Dubai iPhone with a little bit of tweaking as described in the video. 😉Subscribe and like for more videos like this: http://www.youtube.com/c/Nebaa?sub_confirmation=1 My social media accounts Twitter: https://twitter.com/nebaa_ed https://www.facebook.com/nebaaTCS/ https://www.instagram.com/i_am_nebaa/ My website: https://techandcoolstuff.com/ The videos used for illustration are not all mine so I would like to give credit to their authors by linking the sources below.
